PRIME is a four-day immersive training series designed for procurement professionals—buyers, purchasing agents, and contract administrators—seeking practical tools and expert strategies to strengthen procurement planning, execution, and compliance. This hands-on program delivers real-world insights across the full procurement cycle—from writing effective specifications to evaluating offers, analyzing costs, negotiating contracts, and managing post-award performance.

Program Schedule

Day 1 – Specification Development

Crafting Effective Procurement Specifications

Learn how to write clear, complete, and competitive specifications that ensure agency needs are met efficiently and within guidelines.

Day 2 – RFPs + Negotiation Strategies

Developing and Evaluating RFPs + Leading Negotiations

Design robust RFPs, anticipate contract risks, and lead confident, strategic negotiations that protect agency interests.

Virtual Session – Time Management for Procurement Pros

Tools for juggling timelines, managing priorities, and staying ahead in procurement cycles.

Day 3 – Price/Cost Analysis + Construction

Morning: Evaluate pricing, market conditions, and cost data

Afternoon: Explore construction procurement and alternate delivery methods

Day 4 – Contract & Project Management

Post-award success: contract oversight, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring

Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to:

  • Create transparent, risk-aware specifications and RFPs
  • Select cost-effective, high-value solutions using objective, transparent, and justifiable evaluation methods.
  • Analyze pricing structures and cost data

Pricing

Full Program (4 Days): $1,200

Single Day: $325 (available if minimum of 25 registrants is met)

Refund Policy

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the event organizer.
    • Full Refund: Requests received at least 30 days prior to the event start date.
    • Partial Refund (50%): Requests received between 15-29 days before the event.
    • No Refunds: Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event or no-shows.
  • Substitutions are allowed at any time at no additional cost. 

           We reserve the right to substitute instructors or modify the program content if necessary, without prior notice. If the event is canceled by the organizers, full refunds will be issued.
