Target Audience:

This program is targeted towards individuals involved in purchasing/procurement activities such as buyers/purchasing agents, buyers and contract administrators.  This class will take an in-depth look at the processes involved in evaluating offers to ensure the best offer is the one selected.


Course Description: 

The Purchasing Team should establish a fair process for proposal evaluations to facilitate a transparent scoring system and committee assessment.  The class will review optional evaluation criteria methods and how to best prepare and conduct prudent review of all aspects of offers.  Case studies will assist the class in exploring benchmark strategies for successful projects.

Course Objectives:

  • Identify the best evaluation criteria method for various types of solicitations.
  • Establish a process for evaluating team responsibilities that is fair and defendable.
  • Analyze the correlation of well-prepared specifications with the selection of the best offeror.

Refund Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the event organizer.

Full Refund: Requests received at least 30 days prior to the event start date.

Partial Refund (50%): Requests received between 15-29 days before the event.

No Refunds: Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event or no-shows.

Substitutions are allowed at any time at no additional cost.          

We reserve the right to substitute instructors or modify the program content if necessary, without prior notice. If the event is canceled by the organizers, full refunds will be issued.
